The SD-40/SF-40 Automatic Taping System automatically feeds and applies transfer tape with liner in place and tear strip tape to a corrugated or paperboard blank at up to 350’ per minute. The compact footprint – requires less floor space than folder/ gluer. Removes taping from the folder/gluer and allows you to use the folder/gluer as it was intended and at the speeds it was intended to run

Our tape applicators can apply a variety of double-sided, adhesive transfer tapes for sealing products and tear tapes/reinforcement tapes for opening the box or strengthening parts of it. Straub tape application systems can be used on a wide variety of boxes, packages and mailers.

The model T-626 tape applicator is designed to apply a wide variety of pressure sensitive tapes to flat surfaces. The T-626 is a versatile machine that can work in many different industries including the packaging industry by retrofitting it to a Specialty Folder Gluer.

• T-626 (standard) applies tape up to 350 FPM / 107 MPM
• T-626 Heavy Duty applies tape up to 500 FPM / 153 MPM
• T-626U (ultra) applies tape up to 750 FPM / 230 MPM

The speeds are all dependent on the product / material handling (conveying) and the tape being applied.
