Greenfield Plant - Complete Scrap System
Turnkey scrap system for a greenfield corrugated box plant, fully integrated with converting equipment for maximum efficiency.
What we built
New corrugated plant in South America. Goettsch designed, delivered and installed a complete new scrap system including corrugator pick-ups and trim cutters, a pit conveyor handling scrap from four high-volume rotary die cutters, and the entire air system (ductwork and fans). Scrap is conveyed to a dedicated scrap room equipped with fans, under-roof horizontal separator, dust filter and a high-capacity auto-tie baler. The system also includes a heavy-duty shredder for sheet waste.

Why it works
Single-source experienced vendor responsible for correct design, installation, operation and ongoing service of the entire system — while meeting the customer’s budgetary, operational and installation objectives.
Additional scope
This system was designed to meet stringent local regulations for noise, dust and appearance — with all scrap components under-roof — and sized with excess capacity to allow for future expansion of additional finishing machines. Goettsch also designed and installed two complete die cutter lines and a complete conveyor system for finished boxes in the same plant.
